
Mark North is a seasoned leader with more than 30 years in healthcare leadership including ~20 years of CFO experience in general acute care hospitals spanning the for-profit, not-for-profit and governmental sectors. Proven track record managing organizations ranging from a 125-bed, $200M facility to a 463-bed, $1.7B two-hospital system with 1,800+ employees and 30+ employed physicians.
Mark brings more than 15 years of CFO experience in Alabama, where prudent financial leadership, cash flow and resource stewardship are critical to success. At Regional Medical Center (“RMC”) in Anniston, Alabama, Mark served as CFO for ~10 years (through 2025), with the prior ~7 years as its Controller. During his tenure he developed and administered an annual operating budget in excess of $230M, led a significant performance turnaround, the closure of a non-viable hospital, the strategic acquisition and integration of a key competitor hospital and successfully secured HUD financing for long term debt.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Birmingham-Southern College and an Associate Degree in Engineering from Jefferson State Junior College. A Certified Public Accountant (inactive) since 1996, he is also a member of the Alabama Society of CPAs, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
