Josh Gatlin is a Director at Gibbins Advisors, advising middle-market companies and their stakeholders on M&A, capital raising, liquidations, and complex restructuring engagements, with deep experience in Chapter 11 restructurings across the healthcare space.
Prior to Gibbins, Josh spent five years as a Director at The Wyse Group, where he led teams of 10+ professionals executing capital raises, M&A transactions, and operational turnarounds across a range of industries. He advised on numerous Chapter 11 cases, including engagements in the healthcare space, partnering directly with CEOs, CFOs, and lenders to renegotiate lender agreements, restructure debt, and extend operational runway while maintaining covenant compliance. He built the detailed three-statement models and 13-week cash-flow forecasts that informed board and court-level decisions. Earlier, as an Investment Banking Associate at Asgard Securities, he led financial modeling and investor management for capital raises and M&A across multiple sectors.
Josh also brings an operator’s perspective: as President of BODYBAR, he helped lead the health-and-wellness franchisor towards scaling past 125 units and onto the Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing private companies in its industry. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Vaquero Capital, serving as the sole junior resource on five closed middle-market M&A transactions representing more than $300 million in total enterprise value across the SaaS sector.
Josh earned a B.S. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and holds Series 7, 63, and 82 licenses.
